Below, we've already answered the most frequently asked questions about Next Level Freelancer for you. During our introduction, there is of course plenty of room to ask your individual questions.
Our program works well for existing and starting freelancers because the questions and needs match: more clients, better rates, etc. In addition, many freelancers can still optimize, such as agreeing to contracts that are not appropriate or simply gambling with their rate.
When you start with us, you will of course arrange that right away. For starters, we have specific modules that focus on switching over and starting up your freelance business: your first assignment, setting up accounting, dismissal, and everything that comes with it.
With everything around the switch to freelancing and freelancing itself. For literally everything that comes with this, we have a solution. We have already helped more than 120 people and our service has become a toolbox for every challenge. Through more than 7 advisors, 80 other active community members, templates, playbooks, training courses, etc.
Basically, if you have a problem, you'll find the answer with us. If you have an unique case, we will ensure that you still get an answer, asap.
In the beginning, consider about 2 hours per week that you will have to spend on it. Over time, that will become less as you have set up and implemented everything. Then it's more about optimizing and troubleshooting. It also depends on how active you are.
In the long run, a minimum of 30 minutes per week is a good amount you want to spend on your business. That may not sound like much, but we'll teach you how to automate a lot.

If this is what you think, you have fallen prey to exactly the image that the agencies and employers want you to have. This is because this way, you simply stay in your place, depending on these intermediaries, so that you can continue to pay for their cash. Other freelancers may have told you this, because they only work through agencies and don't know how to turn it around for themselves.
Companies certainly do hire directly. If you hire a freelancer for an X hourly rate, does it matter where they come from? No. Sometimes the contract negotiation has to go through an intermediary because they don't want to do it themselves, but that's different from a mediator.
Based on your resume and LinkedIn, we will always assess whether you can already start freelancing or if you'd better wait a little longer. As a reference, you can take 5 to 7 years of experience. At the moment, there are a few fewer applications than in the freakishly high peak that followed immediately after COVID, but if you compare it with the past 15 years, it is still a good market and very “average”.
The wrangling around the DBA Act (and now the introduction of VBAR) has been going on for more than 8 years and is still not being enforced. Every time something happens, the secondments, payrollers and employers use that again to scare you that you shouldn't freelance and keep earning money for them. So it's a recurring trend just to make you scared.
That said, it seems to be getting a bit more concrete now and you see requests with “no self-employed” coming by more often. So the imbalance between high demand and low supply is decreasing. That is why it is all the more important that you actively work with your network and ensure that you have access to end customers and are not just left to fend for mediators. And that is exactly what we help you learn.
After a year, you are undoubtedly prepared and we see that freelancers are already going to help others. That's why our program lasts one year, followed by the opportunity to stay connected to our network and actively participate in the community.
At the beginning of the program, we'll see you bring in your first customer within 1-3 months. Only then will you quit your job and thus, after your notice period, you will have officially started as a freelancer.
That depends on what you want. If you have 2 years of experience, want to make the switch tomorrow and earn 120 euro per hour, you have a challenge. In the beginning, we make a plan with each new participant in the program, advising you on what is possible and achievable and what is risky or unattainable.
